About Wakkiro

Wakkiro is an AI-powered construction cost estimator built for the Malaysian market. It turns a house plan — or just a short description of your project — into a full, itemised Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and budget quotation in minutes, priced with rates calibrated to the current Malaysian market.

What Wakkiro does

• Reads your drawing like a QS. Upload a floor plan (PDF or image) and the AI detects built-up area, floors, rooms, wet areas, doors, windows and project scope — each with a confidence score.
• Works without a drawing too. Enter built-up area, storeys and finish quality, and Wakkiro generates a parametric model and estimate from typical Malaysian house geometry.
• Produces a real BOQ. Preliminaries, structure, architecture, M&E, finishes and external works — item by item, with quantities and rates you can review and edit.
• Shows a live 2D plan and 3D model of your project that updates as you change inputs, with a built-in 3D editor.
• Compares labour scenarios — mixed crew, all-local crew, foreign-heavy crew and an independent QS benchmark — so you understand the price range, not just one number.

Where the rates come from

Wakkiro's primary rate source is a continuously maintained, crowdsource-calibrated Malaysian rate book covering materials, labour and plant. Drawing-detected quantities are priced against these rates; anything the drawing doesn't specify is covered by parametric allowances. An independent QS benchmark rate is shown for comparison only and is never mixed into your quote.

What Wakkiro is not

Wakkiro produces budget estimates, not tender prices. Site conditions, soil, access, and contractor availability all affect final pricing. Use Wakkiro to set a realistic budget, understand where the money goes, and compare contractor quotations against an independent baseline — then confirm the final price with a licensed contractor or quantity surveyor.

Self-improving analysis

When users mark an AI analysis as inaccurate and explain why, the correction is stored and automatically applied every time that drawing is analysed again. The estimator gets more accurate with every project it sees.
